Aero Regalla Released Thursday December 14th.2006 with smashing success!!
Thank you to all who came out to celebrate Aero’s release with us and absolutely pack THE ICEHOUSE!! Power outages and all, it was an amazing evening!! Matt Cox, a brilliant singer songwriter, opened with a 45 minute set of great songs bringing his original Americana music to the ears of all who were in attendance. Goodbye Sunday closed the night with a song packed hour set. Song after song, the expression of emotion was captivating; great music!
Thank you for your encouragement and enthusiasm throughout the night. Merch sales were overwhelming. You even provoked an encore!! Thank you so much!
Since the release…
I’ve received many emails and phone calls filled with sincere, positive reactions to the new album. This means a great deal to me. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and hearts with me. I really appreciate it! That’s one difficult aspect about the process of making a new record; it’s such a long time to wait to learn people’s response to the new songs. Thank you for making it worth the wait. J
Aero Regalla has traveled to both coasts for the holidays. A few mail orders have come through the website from the West Coast. And one supporter told me they were taking a couple discs as stocking stuffers to their family in New York. It’s amazing to me; the cd gets to travel to cooler places than me. J Thank you!!
Many Have Asked, “Do You Plan to Send Aero off to Labels with the Hopes of Being Signed?”
To be signed by a Record Label would be great validation. Someone outside of the local community, purely listening to the music without knowing me saying, “This music is good, let’s work together,” would be a wonderful validation. I think every songwriter longs for someone from the music industry to ascribe positive virtue to their craft and their songs.
To be honest, I simply don’t know where to go or where to send material. I’m a tiny piece of plankton in the ocean of music. I wish I knew more about how this whole thing is supposed to work. If anyone has any suggestions or contacts please feel free to let me know.
It was communicated to me recently that Aero has already been sent to three different labels. Apparently, someone in the CS camp knows a few people who work in the industry and out of the goodness of their heart sent them a copy. Thank you!!
