An East Coast Beginning to Law School?

Saub, born in Philadelphia, PA, found his rearing years in the Midwest. His family moved to Omaha when he was 8 years old. After graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelors degree in Pre-Law/Political Science Saub immersed himself in the local music scene with being involved with four different groups at the same time: an original blues/rock band where he played bass, a hip-hop group where he programmed all the music and played live guitar, an original group pop-alternative group with a more spiritual emphasis he fronted and wrote for, and another original Power-pop group called Someday Mission that would a decade later become the Chris Saub Band, then Trio, then merely the artist himself, Chris Saub.

In Search of Soul in Texas

Saub took a two year break from music and went on a soul searching “walk-about” to Texas. Saub believes this period of time allowed him to find his true self, his path and shed a majority of his boyhood tendencies that were holding him back from exploring music, life and the world we live in.

His Return to the Midwest

Upon his return Saub grabbed former Someday Mission band mates and began playing the local scene again. At the start of 2004 Saub made a very difficult decision to let go his friend and current lead vocalist to begin fronting the band himself. The Chris Saub band was born.

Up 'til Now

After fronting bands carrying his name full-time for the last four years in the Omaha area, Chris is enjoying his greatest success to date with a new management company, new line up, new songs, and a new style.

The New Vibe

Chris’s latest endeavor can best be described as an Original Rock-Jazz Trio; “A Sophisticated Musical Package with a Refreshing Feel Good Vibe.” Chris fronts the band utilizing an avant-garde approach to Acoustic Guitar, juxtaposing his unique and haunting vocal style, delivering soaring and memorable melodies. Chris is accompanied by Jazz prodigies: Mason Milliken on Saxophone and Adam Riedlebach on Drums.
